GIS Software: A Mapping Software Created Using C++

This is a mapping software that maps out different cities based on the user's request. It displays different types of roads including motorways and trunkways, primary, secondary and tertiaty roads. The map also diaplays various features within the city, such as golfcourses, parks, lakes, streams etc; and points of interests, such as restaurents, coffee shops, banks, etc. The user can also query the map to search for intersections, streets and look for their Information.
The project was built for a Software Design and Communication course. In this project, I designed and built the user interface of the software using C++ and a graphics ibrary called GTK. I also contributed to creating the lower level functions to optimize the data using C++ standard library, various data structures and the OSM database.
See the project here.

Boomerang: A lost and found system for Toronto

Boomerang is a web app that works is a lost and found system for lost items and pets in the City of Toronto. Users can upload ads of lost valuables and/or pets and other users who see the ad will help them find it. The website has an embedded google maps which the user can use to pinpoint the last known location of the lost item/pet.
The project was built for the Design Solution Challenge by Google which targeted to solve United Nations Sustainable Design Goals (SDG's). In this project, I designed and built the front end of the website using HTML, CSS and Javascript. The project also uses a noSQL database on firebase hosted on Google Cloud.
See the project here.

DUAL PC

This is a 2 player game played on PC. The objective of the game is to kill the opponent using the bullets. Each player can choose a ship with varied level of power and speed. The game was built as a group project on Unity using C#.
This project was developed in a group and I designed and coded the tutorial, the first splash page and movements and boundaries of the ships in the game.
See demo videos of the project here and here.
